Gene Daly has retired as President and CEO of LKMA

"It has truly been a privilege to know you and work with you all of these years."

Brookhaven, NY, January 1, 2018 — L.K. McLean Associates announced today its President and Chief Executive Officer, Eugene F. Daly, has retired effective December 31, 2017.

“I have reached the next step in life’s journey and will be retiring at the end of 2017.   After nearly 50 years of Engineering - 32 years with LKMA, it is now time to spend more time with my wife, children and especially my grandchildren - maybe a little more time traveling and on the links as well, “ said Daly.   “I want to thank all of you for all of your hard work and the contributions you have made to LKMA.  You are the reason why so many clients have recognized LKMA for the excellent work we do.  It has truly been a privilege to know you and work with you all of these years – it has made coming to work a pleasure. I wish you and your families all Godspeed and hope to see you in the future as life’s journey continues”.

Daly joined LKMA in 1986 and has served as a managing partner since 1993.  Daly is succeeded by Raymond DiBiase, P.E., LKMA’s former Executive Vice President. “Ray will be taking over effective January 1 of 2018.  I have known Ray for over 40 years and know that he will do an outstanding job in his new role,” Daly added.

Mr. DiBiase has offered these words, “Under Gene’s leadership, the firm is now in an ideal position to both continue to serve municipal and private clients in the New York metropolitan area as well as to expand its engineering and surveying services. Gene and his expertise will continue to be available to LKMA as a consultant. I am looking forward to the new challenge this position brings continuing the tradition of excellence the firm has achieved since its founding in 1950."
