LKMA Ranked amongst Top Long Island Workplaces
Brookhaven, NY, October 30, 2018 – LKMA is pleased to announce that we have been ranked as one of Newsday’s Top Workplaces on Long Island! LKMA placed #17 out of 42 in the small sized business category (firms of 50-149 workers). The survey focused on worker engagement in all business sectors with 116 companies being surveyed and only the top 74 having been identified as a ‘Top Workplace’.
The survey was designed to gather anonymous employee responses in seven areas that measure organizational health and engagement. An anonymous quote published from survey had this to say about working at LKMA, “I like learning something new every day… You can stay in the office and design or go into the field and get experience on construction.”
According to Newsday, the survey “…relies on employees' ratings of how engaged they are with their jobs and their employer's business and mission.” The survey has found that leadership within the company is directly linked to how engaged an employee is with their work. Raymond DiBiase, P.E., President and CEO of LKMA, was very pleased to learn the news stating, “Our goal is to create a work environment where professionals with all levels of talent and experience collaborate to complete our projects. As I always tell our clients when they compliment our firm’s work—we have really good people.”
Congratulations to all LKMA staff for truly making our firm one of Long Island’s Top Workplaces!
